As much as I hate to accept it, it is that time of year and for fashion folks they've actually moved on to Spring 2012 probably! It's time to look at what the Women Colors are going to be "in" for Fall according to Pantone's Fashion Color Report.  Bringing in a new camisole with one of these colors or maybe adding a necklace or bracelet (eh?!) that has them can instantly update your uniform of jeans or basic suit.  You'll be seeing these colors in home furnishings like pillows and dining tablescapes as well.

Pantone Fall 2011

Pantone says in reference to this palette:  "Taking cues from the great masters, sepia tones of old Hollywood, Chinese opera, cityscapes and countryside, designers are paying close attention to texture, contrast and color for fall 2011 – pairing menswear with feminine twists, warm prints with cool metals, incorporating both old and new influences, and creating an intriguing balance between colors." I'm no slave to this by any means, but I do find when I am out shopping that some colors grow on me while others instantly attract me into buying a scarf or maybe even a sweater to satisfy that urge to have something fresh in my wardrobe. Here are some items from my shop that pick up some of the colors in Pantone's Fall collection:

Rings of Raku earrings (SOLD)

What Comes Around bracelet (SOLD)

Isle Plunder earrings (SOLD)

Nebula statement necklace

Spring Statement Necklace

Hide and Seek

Bee is for Bicycle artisan necklace (SOLD)

Mediterranean inspired artisan necklace

Mediterranean Tapestry artisan necklace

All colors are the friends of their neighbors and the lovers of their opposites. Marc Chagall

Your jewelry is beautiful!

Your jewelry is beautiful! Thank you for sharing the color chart ... I could just dive right in. I look at colors now and relate them their Thompson Enamel counterparts! My son and I speak a new language called "Thompson Enamel." I was buying carpet for the upstairs and I called him to tell him the color. I told him it was "Woodrow Red!" The quote by Marc Chagall is so clever and so true!
