FAQ

Whimsical Jewelry for the Adventurous Woman.

My jewelry is for those individuals who love expressing themselves. Most are one of a kind which makes them all the more special since we are all unique.

I think you are here reading about my jewelry, because you care about the quality and uniqueness of the jewelry you buy and wear. Quality and the details are very important to me. You will have my jewelry to wear for years and have it to pass on some day if you choose. The jewelry in my shop is designed and created by me.

You play a part in its longevity by taking care of it with proper wear and storage which honors its value to you, as well as its intrinsic value. Wear and tear of course occurs, but I want it to be past when you'd ever expect it. To find out more about caring for your jewelry, refer to my Jewelry Care page.

California's Metal-containing Jewelry Law: I do not create jewelry for children. My jewelry is meant to be worn, not tasted or eaten. Please refer to this link to read more about the law and how I comply: http://www.dtsc.ca.gov/HazardousWaste/Jewelry/upload/Jewelry-Fact-Sheet.pdf

Payment Methods

I use PayPal as well as an independent secure credit card processor, Stripe.

I accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. Or, you can pay using your PayPal balance.

Is your site secure?  Yes!  My site is SSL Certified.

Sales Tax:  As an Idaho based business I do charge appropriate sales tax rate for purchases shipped to Idaho residences per ID tax law.

Shipping

In most cases your jewelry purchase will be wrapped in mulberry or tissue paper and placed in a handmade paper gift envelope. In other cases I will package in a jewelry box with a ribbon or patterned washi tape. In all cases it will arrive suitable for gift giving.

Shipments go out Mon through Fri as soon as payment has cleared. I include insurance for orders within the U.S.

USPS Priority Mail, UPS and FedEx are also possible with U.S. and International shipments. If you would like to ship this way - let me know and I'll send you an invoice for any increase in postage costs.

For International (non-U.S.) shipments:  Any tariffs or customs fees are the responsibility of the buyer. I ship items First Class International (except to *Australia.)  There is unfortunately no tracking available with First Class, but if you would like tracking I can ship Express Mail International and send you an invoice for the increase in postage costs.

*Australia - postal regulations in Australia require me to ship Priority Mail Insured.  This is unfortunately not an inexpensive shipping option.  However, you can make it worth it by ordering a few pieces to spread that cost over the total number of items.

If you would like insurance for your international order please let me know. I will find out the cost and get back to you so you can make decision on whether to add it. That shipment will go out First Class Priority if available.

If you fall into delivery to "other countries" (non-EU, not Canada nor U.S.) there may be no insurance option for you. (Send me a convo or a note in your invoice for me to check.) Please consider this when ordering as I will not be responsible for items shipped to those countries where I cannot insure the package. Thank you for your understanding.

Where postage/insurance costs come in substantially lower than as listed I will be refunding the excess. I'm not in the business of making money on postage!

Wholesale Inquiries

Due to the limited and individual artisan nature of my products, they are best shown in boutiques, art galleries, museum shops, etc. There are some items I could reproduce for catalog and larger orders so please ask if interested.

Please use my contact page and include your contact information and any details you feel are relevant to introduce yourself and your firm. A valid business name, license and minimum wholesale purchase will be required.

Please always include your email address so that we can be sure of a fit as quickly as possible.

Safety

I design jewelry for adults and responsible young adults that understand that jewelry is meant to be worn and not ingested. Due to the nature of jewelry, small parts can be a choking hazard. Use common sense when wearing my jewelry and storing it.

Also, any of my jewelry where I use crystals there may be lead, like with Swarovski crystals. WARNING: This product contains lead, a chemical known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm. Wash hands after handling.
