The next best thing to having a client fall in love with one of my pieces is to be published!

The current issue (Summer 2018) of Belle Armoire Jewelry features one of my statement necklaces and the coordinating lampwork earrings.  The editor contacted me earlier this year and asked for a few of my pieces for consideration.  This set was selected to have a feature so that means I got paid, too!

The magazine does a far better job of photographing my jewelry than I do.  In fact if you've never seen this magazine you should check it out.  It's always gorgeous and fun to page through multiple times.  Coffee table fodder for sure!  They placed these on what looks to be an antique white cotton gown and it's just so perfect.

In memory of someone I consider an artist, Anthony Bourdain (RIP)

"Bad food is made without pride, by cooks who have no pride, and no love. Bad food is made by chefs who are indifferent, or who are trying to be everything to everybody, who are trying to please everyone... Bad food is fake food... food that shows fear and lack of confidence in people's ability to discern or to make decisions about their lives."

Be you.  Create what makes you proud and happy.  Be fearless and wear your story.

Congratulations on being published, especially because it means your art has been selected and honored by experts! The necklace and earrings are both beautiful. :)

Thank you!

Thanks Paula! It does make me feel legitimate!

Our local grocer hasn't had it, but I keep hoping. :-) They did such a beautiful job photographing it. Maybe I should up my game on the photographing. Thank you!
