Do you know what a moonflower is? It's like a morning glory, but it's white and opens at night! They were the inspiration for this pair of artisan earrings.
After cutting two circles of sterling silver I hammered and formed them into a ruffly moonflower shape. I played with an idea on patina and it worked! These have dark recesses to accent the shiny silver.
These are post style earrings with a stone dangle.
These snowflake obsidian drops look like flowers in the dark to me. Maybe even a trellis showing through the back of them. Ah, the imagination wins!
This lovely pair are suitable for work or play, day into evening.
2 1/8 inches long from the earring post to the bottom of the dangle.
