One of a kind art pendant in cream, tans, and a delightful green
Carlsbad Caverns National Park, located in the Chihuahuan Desert of New Mexico, is my 8th one of a kind pendants honoring our National Parks. This one is still on my bucket list. Having spent many an excursion to Skyline Caverns and Luray Caverns in Virginia growing up I can say I love them. It was not just the relief from the humid heat of summers in Virginia either. You entered another world when you went underground. One that I imagined was under every limestone rock cropping on our farm. Our minds would imagine (or not?!) cool air coming out between the rocks and be convinced that we'd found the coolest one yet. We felt our Dad was believing it right along with us, but I realize now that if he did we'd have moved some rocks.
