Forest Nap (SOLD)
This past week was very good to me. I sold two more of my statement necklaces!
One went to one of my favorite places on earth: the San Juan Islands. Forest Nap was one I created for the October ABS Challenge. I'm so glad that she went to someone in the Pacific Northwest!
The other went to my old home state Virginia. It's on its way today to their state capital. I crafted a graduated sterling silver Byzantine chain to show off Pacific Northwest's Michael Barley's exquisite lampwork bead.
Byzantine BallI miss both of them already, but after hearing the new owner's "love" response when they received Forest Nap and that the new owner of Byzantine has been saving for a year to purchase it.... I'm honored and thrilled that they went to good homes.
As selling a piece usually does, I'm very anxious and motivated to get my studio up and running again! I've now got 3 commissions to work on in early June and then can create some new work inspired by ?
