Prairie style jewelry and fashion

storyboard template by Kim Klassen

This week's fashion storyboard really appeals to me.  When I think of Prairie Style I think of Sundance and Robert Redford.  (Any excuse to think of Robert, right?!)  When their latest catalog comes I fold down just about every page.  Their buyers must know me.

I selected Sundance's Sydney Tunic to feature as I always like a white shirt and the embroidered flowers are just so sweet on this.

Slip on a pair of my Golden Raindrop Earrings and my Sutter Creek necklace and you're ready for the festival!

The leather fringed messenger bag is from Debra of Tuscada on Etsy.  I'm in love with this one with its leather rose and fringe.  She's from Columbus, Ohio and yet her work has real western appeal.

SewDanish is one of my favorite Etsy shops.  Her needlework is exquisite and reflects her Danish background.  She's also a very sweet person.  These purse or cell phone fobs would look great on the messenger bag and give it a spot of color.

Finally, check out these VERY cool Infinity Sandals!  The creator, Infinity Sandals, says they're based on an old Tarahumara Indian design.  She shows several ways to tie them in her Etsy listing, but also has a You-Tube video showing even more ways.  I have no idea how comfortable they are, but you'd only have to bring one pair on vacation!
