Above is the view from my studio window.  I'm one very fortunate woman.  Inspiration abounds, but there's always something that catches my eye and sets me off daydreaming.  On a windy day like today I watch the waves go by tipped by white caps. I love flowers, but we have a lot of deer and bunnies that like flowers, too so I've got lavender and rhododendrons, heather and heath in the yard.  For the bright summer color I crave I purchase flower baskets each year to hang outside my studio window.  I bought these in mid-April from Costco and they're really thriving.  They actually are much brighter from the inside than the photo above shows.
