This is Week 43 of Focus on Life being hosted by The Studio Sublime.

Sally's prompt was to look into what makes light and shadows interesting since this time of year with the sun lower you find lots of shadows.

Tough week for shadows here on the coast.
We've had fog til afternoon and then sun so low there weren't any cool shadows that I could find.

I was resorting to very primitive shadowgraphy and it wasn't going too well.  The best I could do was have a hand-snake attack my neck.  But rather than call it quits I kept on and although I brought a prop in to create it, it makes me smile any way.

This little bunny reminds me to enjoy the moment.

Is she laughing at her ability to look menacing?
Does she know she's in the shadow of a natural enemy or have they just learned to get along?
Is she unaware why she feels sheltered and cool?
I don't think she knows.  (wink)   She just spreads joy no matter the weather or circumstance.

Let my soul smile through my heart and my heart smile through my eyes, that I may scatter rich smiles in sad hearts.  ~Paramahansa Yogananda
