Some might cringe at what I did, but I think these will get worn way more often than where these vintage Elsa Schiaparelli clip-on Watermelon crystal earrings started. They were made and worn probably in the 50's and are considered fine costume jewelry of the time and many people collect her jewelry. The metal on them is not sterling silver.
After removing the back clip and doing some sanding I simply strung each "new" pendant from a 16" faceted sterling silver chain with sterling silver rings.
Vintage Bling! The pendant is about 1.25 inches in diameter.
I've got 2 of these as you can see in the photos. They're pretty much identical.
