Pashmina conjures up exotic locales and fine soft fabric. I knitted this lace cowl in a fiber called pashmina by Madelinetosh that is 75% superwash merino wool, 15% silk, and 10% cashmere. The resulting fabric is as luxurious as it sounds due to its contents and fineness of fiber.
The silk gives it a sheen while the fibers combined give it a drape and softness that is so wonderful against the skin. Took some labor, but I think it's worth it!

Care: Handwash cold; lay flat to dry; As with other red and pink dyes, there may be some residual dye that weeps, but I think this will be very slight since I've already given it its first swish. If there are no stains, no need to wash, just air the cowl outside and it will be as fresh as a daisy.
