This found object necklace, Vanishing Beauty, contains a blue shell I found on the Baja Peninsula of Mexico, detailed brass fish, and a v-horseshoe shaped copper piece. It's all held together with Sterling Silver rivets and Sterling Silver wirework mimicking the ocean surf.

Freshwater Rice Pearls form the necklace. Vanishing Beauty is adjustable from 17-19 inches.

Our wild west-coast salmon have never been more in danger. With that in mind I created a beautiful tribute to our oceans. Locally our Elwha River is being restored by the removal of two dams built in the early 20th century in hopes of the return of storied salmon runs. You can read more about it in my blog post.
