I thought this month's inspiration painting was just cuddly:  warm soft colors and the cutest little hedgehog!  I always love nature inspiration so I knew this would be fun.I actually made two pieces this time.

First up are a pair of earrings made from lampwork beads I bought from Lisa Niven Kelly ages ago.  They're a great shade of beige with fine silver dots.  The rice pearls are a rich chocolate shade.

The main challenge piece is my Forest Nap necklace (SOLD) made using the cutest little detailed owl bead from Tree Wings Studio.

For the pendant I took two brass stampings of oak leaves and acorns and wired them back to back.  I added some gilder paste to give them a little more patina... then wired the cute napping owl to the top.  I love this little guy!
