My Jewelry Retrospective of 2014

2014 Pendants

January 2015 is going by way too quickly.  I always like to do a retrospective of the jewelry I created the previous year soon after the year has ended!  Oh well.

Before I share some more collages of last year's work I'd like to welcome you to my new website!

Those of you that have been with me from the start may remember the days when I had my own website and shop online through yahoo!  Unfortunately that was before Google became such a force as a search engine and probably half way... or maybe even only a quarter of the way to the explosion of online shopping venues.  My little shop didn't come up on searches for artisan jewelry, so I tried several mall types like 1000Markets, ArtFire and Etsy.  I still am on Etsy, but with their pending IPO and my ability to generate my own business, it was time for me to bring back my own site.  The absolute best thing is having everything in one place!  Now you can shop, read my blog, and see some of my sold work to get a feel for where I've been and where I'm going.  I am still adding work to my galleries and it's been a lot of fun to revisit those pieces that are being worn around the world.  There are even a few I felt the pang again of regret that I'd let them go.  The reward is that I know they're being worn!

This means for those of you that follow my blog already will want to make sure you have this new feed:  http://www.honeyfromthebee.com/blog
