How to Create a Photo Collage or Storyboard

It has become so ridiculously easy to create a photo collage that I just had to share!  Whether you want to create one for a blog post, a scrapbook page, a holiday card, or even to collage some travel photos for a frame on your wall - you'll want to bookmark this!  However, my guess is you'll do it one time and will never look back.  (However, if you're a blogger, I'd love for you to link up with me each Thursday when I host Get it Together Thursday fashion stories where I love to see home decor and fashion storyboards that you come up with.)

When Picnik joined Google those of us that used it for quick photography solutions were disappointed.  However hints of a successor called PicMonkey filled us with hope!

Although I've created many of my fashion storyboards in PS Elements, I've started using PicMonkey more and more for collages.  It's very fast.  It's easy.  And you do not need to buy any software!

Step 1:  go to PicMonkey (http://www.picmonkey.com)

Step 2: click on button Create a Collage

Step 3:  Click on Upload Photos and select whatever photos you want to use in your collage.

Step 4:  Click on the icon that has 1 rectangle and 2 squares (below the mountain and moon icon) to choose what layout you want to use.

Step 5:  Click and drag your photos into place!

Step 6:  If you want a background color besides white, click on the paint palette icon (last one) and choose your background color.

Step 7:  Save to your computer!

That is it!!!  Have fun and start collaging for story impact!
