Focusing on Life, Week 11: the Possibilities are Endless

Ojime beads
Ojime beads - carved from boxwood

This week our fearless prompt leader from the Studio Sublime gives us this:

“In this moment, there is plenty of time. In this moment, you are precisely as you should be. In this moment, there is infinite possibility."  ~Victoria Moran

There are many things around us that hold so many possibilities, a child's face, a seed of a flower, the tools pictured above.  This week pay attention to your surroundings and your daily activities and show us what holds endless possibilities for you.

My bag of recent purchases from button vendors at Stitches West holds endless possibilities!

Mother of Pearl buckles and buttons
Vintage buttons

When they get sorted and placed in their cubbies I imagine them sitting there in the dark wondering when they will be picked and what piece of a whole they will become.

I love Ojime and Netsuke beads.  Although they originally came from Japan these boxwood ones were made in China by master carvers.  I can't resist them and especially couldn't leave without the little piggy.

I'm not sure where Miss Piggy will end up, but the bunny already has plans to join some lampwork eggs.  Unfortunately not in time for this Easter, but aren't bunnies always in style?

Let's hop on over to the Sublime Studio and check out Week 11 to see what others have found that gives them endless possibilities!
