Just a quick post to let my 1000Market customers know that another online marketplace, Bonanza (formerly Bonanzle), has purchased 1000Markets. I am unfamilar with Bonanza, but I am assured the transition will be easy to accomplish on my side and my new shop on Bonanza will be open by the end of the month. Until then you can continue to shop my 1000Markets shop.
Since I do not have experience with their seller tools or anything else, I am unsure at this time how long I will keep the new venue open. I will initially so that I can check out all it has to offer my customers. It is quite a large market and I'm sure it has some advantages for both of us. I will write another post once I feel I can speak to them!
The advantage I saw with 1000Markets is that they had great seller and buyer interfaces and used Amazon's Payment Accounts for processing payments. Bonanza uses PayPal, Google payments and money order as options.
For those who would like to continue to use Amazon Payments, please shop in my ArtFire shop where I accept Amazon, PayPal, Money Orders (USPS) and personal checks.
Update 2/12/2015: My ArtFire shop is closed. I currently have my own website (this is where you are!) and a shop on Etsy.
