In looking for a name for this pair I searched on white rose. That took me to the story of Sophie Scholl and the White Rose. It's the story of a young German woman's powerful resistance in Nazi Germany. I'd not heard of the story before. According to Wikipedia: The White Rose was a non-violent intellectual resistance group in Nazi Germany led by 5 students and a professor at the University of Munich. They used anonymous leaflets and graffiti to call for active opposition of the Nazi regime. Never forget.
