Signed Geometric Beadwork by Jean Power for you?

December 27, 2012

Jean Power's bad fortune coupled with my good fortune means you could be very lucky indeed!

When Jean Power's book called Geometric Beadwork was released just a short while ago she and her crew were checking their list, but apparently they did it not twice but three times!  That meant I got 3 signed copies of her amazing new book!  When I told her about it she generously said I should keep them, because it didn't make sense to ship them back.

When I suggested to her that I could do a giveaway and give her book some more recognition on this side of the pond she was all for it.  Did I tell you they're signed??!

Power - Geometric Beadwork giveaway

First a quick review of this beautiful book:  colorful photos, large drawings, easy instructions to follow.  There are so many projects to keep you busy and inspire you to create your own through interpretation.  If you're a fan of seed beads and math or even just seed beads - you'll want to add this book to your library.  If you're anxiously awaiting the Contemporary Geometric Beadwork book being orchestrated by Kate McKinnon it includes some work by Jean Power, but not all the projects in her own book.

So, it's Giveaway Time!  I haven't even unwrapped the books so you'll be getting them in their sealed condition with Royal Mail stamp.  Of course I'll be slipping them in to a U.S. stamped envelope.  Deadline for entry is 12 noon PST on January 2nd. Here are the entry rules:Rule #1:  This is only open to Canadian and United States residents.  Be sure to include your email address if you are commenting anonymously so I can contact you if you win.Rule #2:  You may enter as many times as you'd like.  Each entry (comment below as a separate "thoughtful impression") needs to include one of the following:

  1. Go to my Artfire (no longer open) or Etsy shop and copy and paste the link of your favorite Honey from the Bee jewelry item as a "thoughtful impression" below.  (If you share your favorite item on your Facebook page or Pinterest - include that link below, too.)
