Get it Together Thursday - Woodland Flowers

Fashion and Jewelry inspired by nature

This week's Fashion Storyboard was inspired by a hike in the woods I took last week.

While walking on the trail I came across the Bleeding Heart and Forget Me Not flowers.  I don't think they grow this large when wild so I think someone must have planted them.  They were so lovely among all the spring green.  The stunning rhody is in our front yard.

The Ocean Dream slip dress is handmade and designed by my friend Lorri Scott of Wayward Threads.  In addition to sewing and creating the silk flowers, she does her own dying too!

Judy of JNOriginals is a Blogging Business Artisan team member of mine and she crochets these delicate and feminine fingerless gloves.  They look to be very close in color to Lorri's dress.

I found two items in my jewelry shop that I thought would look pretty with the dress. Passion Flower Earrings (SOLD) featuring vintage mother of pearl.  Spring has Sprung necklace featuring lampwork by Vicki Lee and Peruvian Pink Opal and Amazonite.
